Pauli's Place Tour is a 1-hour long walk into Pauli Murray and her Fitzgerald family history in Durham's West End Neighborhood. Meet some of the people and places that shaped poet, writer, activist, lawyer, and priest, Pauli Murray. Aya Shabu and friends share stories about Pauli Murray's multi-racial ancestry and heritage, the significance of Black Civil War soldiers, the Freedman Schools movement, and long-time local residents to illuminate this unsung she-ro and her childhood home. The tour is put together by Whistle Stop Tours and the Pauli Murray Project!
