As you will see, deep blue royal icing is simple to achieve. I do not believe I have seen anyone make it this way before, but for me, the 3 colors combined gives a beautiful rich and deep blue. This also makes a beautiful royal blue glaze for all your cookie decorating.

How to achieve deep blue royal icing is a common question. There are other ways to reach the color too. Just make sure to not over-saturate your sugar cookie icing with food gel color, as it can cause bad color-bleed between colors.
