Restoration Process:

Initial Assessment: When I first saw the stove, I was struck by its poor condition. It was covered in thick layers of rust, with visible burn marks and signs of extensive wear.

Rust Removal: The most daunting task was removing years of accumulated rust. I employed a combination of mechanical and chemical rust removal techniques to get the stove back to a workable state. This involved scrubbing, sanding, and applying rust remover solutions to clean every surface thoroughly.

Surface Preparation: After removing the rust, I meticulously prepared the surfaces for painting. This included smoothing out any remaining imperfections and ensuring that all areas were clean and dry.

Painting: The next step was applying heat-resistant paint to the stove. This paint is crucial for protecting the stove from future heat damage and rust. I chose a high-quality paint specifically designed for high-temperature applications to ensure durability and longevity.

Reassembly and Testing: Once the paint was dry, I carefully reassembled the stove. At the end of the video, I put the restored stove to the test to show how well it performs. The test not only demonstrates the stove’s functionality but also highlights the success of the restoration efforts.
