Species monitoring technology can help us keep track of land-based species and facilitate the establishment of protected areas, but it's expensive and time-consuming. However, three pieces of conservation technology could help speed up this process, and at a much lower cost, according to a study released late last year by WILDLABS (www.wildlabs.net), the conservation technology network.
