Driving to Phu Chi Fa Mountain will be a great experience and an adventure! We came for a 3 days 2 nights road trip from Chiang Rai to Phu Chi Fa Mountain on the Thai-Lao border: Camping on the top mountain for sunrise. Phu Chi Fa is a mountain area in the northern Thailand, which is located around 2 hours drive from Chiang Rai. It offers amazing views over the nearby mountains and many come here to witness beautiful sunrises.
Phu Chi Fa and Phu Chi Dao mountains offer breathtaking views. This is one of Thailand's most dramatic routes, hugging steep mountainside along the Thailand–Laos border.
