After popular demand I have re-uploaded the Ermine Street Guards 2012 performance at Caerleon Amphitheatre in high definition.

Here is the full Ermine Street Guard Roman Reenactment group performing at Caerleon Amphitheatre as part of the National Roman Legion Museum's Empire: A Roman Spectacular. As I said in the video, I recorded it in full HD (1920x1080/50p), but it would take so long to upload and use so much of my Broadband limit, that I have put it into a lower resolution. I hope you enjoy all the same. I also only took one camera and filmed the whole thing handheld as I made way there on a my bike. Next year, I'll see if I can get some more cameras and crew down there and we can do a multi-camera production.

About what went on: Celebrating their 40th Anniversary, Britain's top and longest running Roman re enactment group, The Ermine Street Guard, return to Caerleon to amaze the crowds with outstanding military displays.
Watch in wonder as the horses are put through their paces in the arena! See ancient machines of war shoot missiles high into the air, and daring riders show the speed and grace of the Roman cavalry.
