Slideshow - Building a EVH Frankenstein Guitar - NOT INSTRUCTIONAL

This was a build that I started in late September 2020 and finished the 1st of November 2020. During the build of this guitar Eddie passed away and it made the project more important for me to get done as best as I could. So sad that he passed away at only 65 years of age. I found a lot of good resources on youtube and on the web. I found the following sites and youtube channels very valuable. I decided to route out the body a bit for the floyd rose to float in but that is not necessary as the real Frankenstein does not have the body routed. I knew I was not going to get it exact so i figured it would be okay to deviate a little bit from the original. I messed up the top front section of the red paint(Duplicolor Red Supra 2) so i had to sand it all down and redo that part and glad i did. The guitar paint job turned out better than I could have hoped. I actually ordered a EVH wolfgang neck pickup on accident and it sounds terrible in the bridge position so I ordered a new EVH Frankenstein humbucker and now waiting because it is on backorder. Cant wait to get it and make it right. hoping it sounds amazing.
