Song content : "Andromeda" is Korean slang for a crazy person, alluding to someone whose senses must have taken a long trip across the universe to the constellation of Andromeda. The song expresses a mental disturbance from seeing a bug(beolle). "Type 7" is a song about online personality tests. The narrator doesn't care about the different types or results, in the end she just wants to be loved. "Head Size" (implying Big Head) is a song about Muki having a large head (literally, not figuratively). "Namsan Tower" is the futuristic tower overlooking Seoul, which they've always seen lurking in the background but never been to. While looking at the tower they imagine those inside are watching and controlling us. The chorus depicts conflict and falling/collapse. The song is a critique of Big Brother dictatorships that use the panopticon as a means of repressive governance, but ultimately it's just a fun song. In "I'm a Taxi Driver in Paris" the narrator proudly distinguishes as being a taxi driver in Paris and not from anywhere else. Muki emulates the sounds of an ambulance rushing to the scene of an accident. "Arsonist" is a song about the 2008 Namdaemun fire. The oldest national treasure was destroyed by an arsonist and people began selling pieces of the debris off for profit. "Struggle and Diet" is a song about protestors having to endure hunger. MukimukiManmansu would often perform the song at protest rallies. It is both tongue-in-cheek and a genuine heartfelt battle cry. Other songs on the album express their emotional side. One music critic described the album as the perfect expression of youth.

The band name was formed from the nicknames of its two members, Muki and Mansu. Muki respectfully regards the drum, which she named gujanggujang, as the third member of the band. Janggu is a traditional Korean drum. Muki modified the janggu with a kick-pedal and cymbal (inadvertently bringing together the traditional and the modern).

Muki on the album "2012" : "It’s a gift from mukimukimanmansu for the year 2012. We think of the album as a souvenir photo, containing our time together. (We graduate together in late 2012). We enjoyed making it, we hope people will enjoy listening to it too."

MukimukiManmansu were formed in May 2011 and officially disbanded on March 30, 2013. However, after a short break activity resumed through to the end of 2014. They recorded one album, most of which was recorded through the winter of 2011 and released in 2012.
