I've been asked for a bit more detail about how I've gone about drawing the plans for Grace and the three other sailboats I've designed and built so that's the subject of this video.

Although the four boats have worked out really well, I am not speaking as an authority, just someone who got the bug, tried some thing, and can pass along what worked out.

All four of the boats share some common factors: hard-chine plywood sailboats. And I think that makes it much more doable for amateurs like me to successfully go from idea to drawings to a sailboat.
