Returning to Our Roots || Seoul, South Korea (Pt. I)

This past spring the Park Family took our first trip together to South Korea in 15 years.
While living in the U.S. has its many perks, it also means living on the other side of the world from our extended family. That said, it was both exciting and nerve-racking thinking about revisiting our home country and reuniting with family members we hadn't seen in over a decade.

We spent the first 3 days in Seoul visiting family, seeing old friends, eating "Seoul" food, and exploring. I think the first 3 days of the trip was a comforting reminder of my roots; that I am a culmination of all those who came before me. It was fascinating to observe how these various family quirks, personalities, traditions, perspectives, etc. all contributed to who I am.
