内澤崇仁(Vocal&Guitar)、佐藤拓也(Guitar&Keyboard)、前田恭介(Bass)、伊藤彬彦(Drums)による 4 人組ロッ クバンド。2009 年 12 月に 1st アルバム『anew』でデビュー。これまでに 11 枚のシングル、10 枚のアルバム(ベストア ルバム含む)をリリース。 数々の映画やドラマ主題歌、CM ソングを手掛けるなど楽曲の注目度は高く、ミュージッ ク・ビデオもカンヌ国際広告祭(フランス)、One Show(アメリカ)、Webby Awards(アメリカ)ほか国内外 11 のアワ ードで受賞するなど、その映像世界やアートワークでも世界的な評価を得ている。
2018 年は山﨑賢人主演 フジテレビ系 木曜劇場「グッド・ドクター」の主題歌「Hikari」を発売。iTunes ビルボー ド、USEN などのチャートで軒並み連続 TOP10 入り をするなど大ヒット。2020 年 1 月に 10 周年アニバーサリーライブを人見記念講堂 2days 開催し、ソールドアウトとなる。 また、内澤は Aimer、上白石萌音、坂本真綾、柴咲コウなどへの楽曲提供でも高い評価を得ている。

androp is a Japanese pop rock band formed in 2009 in Tokyo.
The band consists of lead vocalist, composer, lyricist and guitarist Takahito Uchisawa, lead guitarist Takuya Sato, bassist Kyosuke Maeda, and drummer Akihiko Ito.

After the band released their first album “anew” in 2009, they have since released 11 EPs and 10 albums.
androp has garnered acclaim for their exploration of an eclectic range of genres such as pop rock, R&B, funk rock, new wave forms of electronic music (such as UK garage, 2-step, and ambient) and forms of rock music (such as shoegaze, post-punk, and post-rock),as well as elements of jazz, soul, and gospel.

The band has attracted producers from various forms of media, and their music has been used in movies, TV dramas, and commercials. This has made it possible for the group to expand its fan base.
Also, their music videos have won in 11 global awards (such as Cannes Lions (FR), One Show (US), Webby Awards (US)).
