04:46 Discussion of recent meta-analysis of studies on whether or not white, pink, or brown noise benefits people with ADHD?

Here I briefly discuss the question of whether or not added background stimulation, specifically continuous noise generation, as in white noise, helps people with ADHD to concentrate better or improve their work performance. The answer seems to be “yes” for white or pink noise. There are no studies of the effects of brown or grey noise and ADHD as yet. However, the degree of improvement in attention and work is rather small, though statistically significant. Even so, it appears that continuous background noise, such as white or pink, might be modestly helpful for those with ADHD.
