The Platinum Project PlayStation 2: Episode 7 - The Cross Country Game Hunt!

Hello and welcome to my challenge for 2024 and my biggest challenge to date:

The Platinum Project PlayStation 2

My journey to try and find all 256 Platinum Games released for the PlayStation 2 in the Pal region.

But with a twist, I am trying to find all 256 of these games before the end of 2024, 256 games, 365 days, let the games begin!

So what are the rules for this challenge? That’s easy, there is no rules! I will do anything to find these 256 games and complete the Platinum Project PlayStation 2.

We start this episode on a huge milestone for the collection and also this time we smash through another key milestone!

In this episode we’re heading on a cross country games hunt to Oxford Gaming Market, this is the first time I’ve visited both Oxford Gaming Market and Oxford itself and it was a great day out!

Also of course we visit the local Oxford CEX branch as well as some more CEX stores on the way home from Oxford to try and find more platinum games!

Also we head to an amazing local independent gaming store a little closer to home, Omegas Emporium in Attleborugh.

Also this time we hit up my local carboot and we have some more viewer mail trades, swaps and sales, and honestly I cannot thank EVERYONE enough for all the support I've had so far in this challenge, I COULD NOT do it without you!

Finally this time, we have some amazing finds from a good friend who has taken it upon themselves to hunt in their local charity shops and CEX stores for platinum games and they have found LOADS to hope boast the Platinum Project PlayStation 2!

As the Platinum Project continues things just seem to be getting crazier and crazier, but trust me, you ain't seen nothing yet!
