Ford's two most influential vehicles to date have been the Model T and the F-series of pickups, specifically the F150.

But to date, Ford's world-famous F150 hasn't been exactly cleaner or greener (although it has become a lot safer and smarter in recent years).

Yet today, Ford pulled the covers off the F150 Lightning Electric, its first all-electric work truck.

And after spending some time going through the spec sheets and hearing Ford's team talk about its capabilities, we think Ford's electric F150 could be the biggest pickup truck it's ever made -- and the most influential.
