Citizen "The Citizen" AQ1030 is a high end high accuracy quartz from the top tier within the Citizen lineup.
Featuring Zaratsu polishing and being hand made, it rivals the more popular Grand Seiko
Movements wise, the A010 caliber is rated at higher accuracy of +- 5 seconds per year vs. Grand Seiko 9F which comes with +-10
This also has a perpetual calendar until the year 2100.
independently settable hour hand for easy time zone and DST changes, and is solar powered being an Eco-drive movement with a 1.5 year power reserve.
Other technologies include an anti-backlash system for the seconds hand, impact detection and protection as well as instant date change at midnight making it one of the most advanced quartz Movements currently in existence, surpassed only by the latest Citizen 0100 movement that boasts a +-1 second per year accuracy!
The case and bracelet are both of Grand Seiko quality in both fit and finish and only the hands and markers under extreme macro shows the level of finishing is Slightly below GS.
