chicken yakhni pulao

Easy to make and the most comforting meal .
INGREDIENTS:
For yakhni
Chicken 900g
Garlic one bulb
Ginger 2 inches
Bay leaves 4-5
Cardamom 6-7
Cloves. 9-10
Black cardamom 2
Black peppercorns 1 tsp
Cinnamon stick 3 inches
Star anise 3
Mace 2
salt to taste
Water. 6 cups

For cooking Pulao:
Basmati rice 2cups /500g
Oil 3/4 cups
Onion 1 medium size
Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
Chopped Ginger 2 tbsp
Saffron strands a pinch
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Nutmeg half (freshly ground)
Tomato one(finely chopped
Fresh Green chilies 3-4
