A helmet has an intense job- it’s gotta keep you alive! With that in mind, I want the best piece of protection that I can find when I’m mountain biking. The Interceptor has some pretty cool technology behind it. Through using an advanced molding process that combines two different types of foams together, Kali is able to make the helmet as small as possible. A smaller helmet will provide less impact to the head and neck in a crash simply because it acts as a shorter lever. This new school molding tech allows Kali to really make the Interceptor tiny, and the helmet ends up really light and comfortable!

The small size of the Interceptor originally through me for a loop- I was heading out to some old school freeride lines, and didn’t realize that this small helmet was actually safer than my older and larger helmet. Now I use the helmet during the spring, summer, and fall, as the venting is top notch.
