The music scene in Detroit was built off the promise of the psychedelic 60's. With its unique blue collar edge, the beginning of American hard rock & its influence on what would become punk rock of the 1970s - Detroit was the place to be for music lovers.

In today's Concert Poster Conversation, Katy & PAE President Glen talk about artist Gary Grimshaw and promoter Russ Gibb. They also discuss Detroit's support of the British invasion, including The Who & Led Zeppelin. Then, along with MC5, we can't forget Iggy Pop & The Stooges, The Prime Movers and Ted Nugent & the Amboy Dukes.
