KML Flight Path (Google Earth Studio w/ Blender)

Tutorial for creating a flight path using Blender w/ Google Earth Studio. The Earth Studio Tools Add-on will import Google Earth Studio projects into Blender, import KML routes in 3D, and provide Masking tools to integrate Blender 3D objects with the rendered Google Earth Studio images.

get flight data (kml)
follow flight with camera
create flight path in Blender
change shape of path
change twist of path
size route to camera (manual method)
attach "airplane" object to path
use drivers to move airplane along path
render in Blender and/or for After Effects
composite in After Effects
blend Google Earth Studio renders (high altitude haze correction)
