This is the true story of Aldo Guce and his family, and how they stood upand won against bigotry and the American system of justice. Based on a well-publicized case known among Filipinos in the United States and filmed where it actually happened, this moving motion picture chronicles the travails of Aldo who had relocated his wife and daughters to New York to escape poverty in the Philippines. By some twist of fate he was accused of molesting one of his little girls and was found guilty and sentenced to jail. His children were sent to foster homes. For years he languished in jail and despaired of ever seeing his family united again. But his wife refused to give up. It was a hard fight but thanks to the help of other Filipinos sympathetic to their plight, Aldo was finally able to prove his innocence.
