Nez0's Bad Shoppe @ Strickly Sidewayz: 3Racing Sakura D5 MR V2 Evo Shakedown Out Of Box

Here's the scoop: drove a lot better than I expected, has classic D5 gearbox noises, front IFS somehow works better than previously, was genuinely surprised! So was my test driver Steve A. from Team Strickly Sideways Club. I don't like the IFS config on the D5, haven't since the RR version when the D5 first released but is actually sorta works on this MR v2 version which is odd considering there is barely any suspension travel leaving really no room for shock preload tunability but somehow with my shock preload settings it actually handles...good! Like we were surprised so we started sending the car harder. It does remind me of the v1 D5 MR and its as good as but i wouldn't say better...yet. I really want to compare these on track head to head because I don't remember being able to gutter run or backie entry the v1 MR like we were with this v2 MR. 3Racing did the right thing by putting back the wheel axles that use wheel nuts instead of screws...no more yeetus wheel deletus after 2 boost hits lol. As per tradition I did not use the factory wheels or tires so the v2 MR is allowed to fully express itself with 8mm offset wheels. I am happy at the out of box performance with this v2 MR as it works as good as the v1, however with wheels that stay on :) I had read that people didn't have a good experience out of the box with this v2 version but I've had quite the opposite, this car works fine and drives quite well as you can see in the video.
