In this video, you will learn how to solve class 11 maths chapter 1 exercise 1.3 on Sets. This exercise covers question 7 in both Hindi and Urdu medium with detailed explanations and examples.
The question is: If A={1,2,3,4,5} and B={4,5,6,7,8}, find A∪B and A∩B.
To find the union of two sets, we write all the elements that belong to either of the sets without repeating any element. To find the intersection of two sets, we write only the elements that are common to both the sets.
So, we have A∪B={1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8} and A∩B={4,5}.
