The Best Shrimp Trucks on Oahu, Hawaii | Giovanni’s vs Romy’s Shrimp Trucks

The debate rages on. Locals have their favorites. Rumors rage on who has the freshest shrimp. We share the pros and cons of the two best garlic shrimp trucks on North Shore Oahu, Hawaii.

North Shore Oahu is littered with shrimp trucks all serving up their take on the classic garlic shrimp plate with two scoop rice. We lived on Oahu for a few years and would frequent all the trucks when we hit the beaches and hiking trails of North Shore Oahu. We whittled the list down to the two best (in our opinion): Giovanni’s and Romy’s Kahuku Shrimp and Prawn Hut.
