A Honda Transalp egyik bosszantó tulajdonsága Off-road környezetben, hogy a kipörgésgátlót (TC) és a blokkolásgátlót (ABS) viszonylag nehezen lehet kikapcsolni a USER módban és ezt minden újraindítás után meg kell tenni, mert nem memorizálja a szoftver. One of the annoying features of the Honda Transalp in an off-road environment is that it is relatively difficult to turn off the traction control (TC) and anti-lock braking system (ABS) in USER mode and this must be done after every restart, because the software does not memorize it. The Off-Road Dongle developed by LSK Motorcycle Electronic provides a solution to this design error.
