“The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is a 2018 science fantasy movie, inspired by the world famous Nutcracker Ballet. The story is about a young gal named Clara. Her mother recently passed away. Everyone in Clara’s family is in a state of grief, but the family attends their godfather’s annual Christmas celebration. During the party, Clara is secretly guided into a parallel dimension in which her mother once ruled as Queen. The absence of Clara’s mother sent the factions of the dimension into a civil war. Clara is immediately anointed as Princess, and her first duty will be to reunite the Four Realms.

The movie stars Mackenzie Foy, Jayden Fowora-Knight, Keira Knightly, Helen Mirren, Eugenio Derbez, Richard E Grant, Morgan Freeman, Misty Copeland, Sergei Polunin, Matthew Macfadyen, Anna Madeley, Ellie Bamber, Tom Sweet, Jack Whitehall, Omid Djalili, Meera Syal, and Charles “Lil Buck” Riley. The film was directed by Lassie Hallström and Joe Johnston.
