1 Lord Vishwakarma is credited for the creation of the arms which were used in the mythological era.

2 It is compulsory for Hindu craftsmen to worship their tools in his name.

3 The Rig Veda identifies him as the imaginary form of creator and Brahman (Ultimate reality).
4 He is mentioned in the epic of Mahabharata as the lord of arts and executor crafts.

5 He constructed the city of Dwarka overnight and also establish the capital of Indraprastha for Pandavas.

6 Lord Vishwakarma is also supposed to have built the capital for Kurus that is Hastinapur.

7 Ravana’s golden fortress called Lanka was originally constructed by Vishwakarma for Lord Shiva.

8 During the battle of Ramayana, his Vanar Putra (ape-son) called Nala build the bridge for Lord Rama.

9 There are many renowned temples dedicated to him, one of which is situated inside Ellora caves.
