I'm sure most of you know that two of our players who are also brothers - Johan "SK|toxic" Quick and Fredrik "SK|gopher" Quick are living in a flat together with their iCE cLIMBERS teammate Magnus "fox" Olsson and they are really practicing their gaming skills over there.
These guys really proved that this practice really works, when they played a great game against the Belgian team of GUNK in the ClanBase EuroCup winners bracket final - after a thrilling five-mapper they managed to win the game and secure themselves a spot inside the finals which are going to take place in New York, in March this year.

Outside of the gaming world, the brothers co-exist very well. Neither their builds nor faces suggest they are close relatives. Gopher is much taller and does not look as sturdy as Toxic. He also seems more lively and outgoing than his brother. But as far back as Toxic can remember, they have done nearly everything together. Gopher always stood up for his younger sibling. He was even the one who came up with an in-game alias for him.
The Quicks were brought up among games. When he was two or three, gopher was already familiar with games like Digger and tetris. He played the Quake series since its debut in 1996 and taught his younger brother to play. And soon, it turned out both had a knack for shooters. Gopher has many stories to tell about the early days when Toxic was age 13.
“First of all, he is very good at getting things the way he wants them,” gopher starts off. “Back then, tox used to enjoy his Coca-Cola a lot, and if he couldn’t have it...knowing that the team couldn’t play without him, or at least needed his skills, he'd say he wouldn’t play practice games or even clan wars with us unless he'd get his Coke. I believe I don’t have to tell you he's not enjoying the Coke as much anymore.”
