Watch as a 50-foot tilt over radio tower is constructed for aviation or ham radio use. Made from easily obtainable steel components, this design allows for quick maintenance due to its tilting design. Antennas can be mounted to the tower while standing on the ground. An electric winch provides for automatic raising and lowering of the mast. This tower was constructed for a fraction of the cost compared to a commercial model. The final completion of this tower will be shown in part 2 of this video series.
