Описание к видео Yacumama Giant Amazon-snake

The Yacumama is a mythical snake that is said to live in the Amazon rainforest. The Yacumama is said to be the mother of all aquatic animals and will suck up any living thing that comes within 100 steps of it. The name comes from the Quechua words yaku, meaning "water", and mama, meaning "mother". The Yacumama is also known as the "Mother of Water”. There is another legend of a land dwelling snake, Sachamama (mother of the earth), the Minhocao a Cryptid. All the 3 species might be the same animal, a giant black snake, known for its burrowing behavior and tendency to leave large channels and trenches in its habitat. Folklore talks about this colossal Cryptid. The tribes who live deep in the amazon still talk about this and are aware of its locations. There have been reports published in the local newspapers about these giants. Mainland media got to hear about them recently. There have been a few expeditions in the past, most notably by a Father or son, Mark and Greg Warner who presented their findings with pictures about the monster snake. There was another un- verified report of a villager trying to kill one of these beasts, but was un-successful as the snake swam away. As per the villager the snake was an impressive specimen of 50 meters with a head of about 2 meters having tentacles appearing as horns. Strangely the local tribes mention that the creature can live both in salt water as well as fresh water. There have been few sightings at the sea by sailors who reported about huge snake feeding on whales and they have been reports from explorers who spoke of its huge triangular head with horns. Elders of the amazon tribes say that once Yacumama becomes old it moves to land and stays hidden under thick vegetation and hunt and eat small animals and humans who go close.
