Peter Davison became the fifth actor to play the role of the Doctor, taking over from Tom Baker and starting his own run of adventures in 1982. In his three years piloting the TARDIS, the Fifth Doctor together with his numerous companions would come up against vicious new foes such as the Mara, the Malus and the Tractators, whilst also facing up against old enemies, including the Daleks, the Cybermen and the Master. As the programme celebrated the 20th anniversary, Peter Davison joined together with his predecessors for an adventure that no one was sure to forget...

But how did the ratings hold up? Would they ever match the insane heights reached by the Tom Baker era?
