The Last of the Great Developers - FX-55 by Geoffrey Crawley. A vitamin C ECO developer.

Two years before his death Geoffrey Crawley made public the FX-55 developer formula. It was published by Amateur Photographer in UK. This was to be the last of Crawley's great developers a series that spanned nearly half a century. His last developer was probably his best. In this video I demonstrate the unusual way of making FX-55 (including simple teaspoon technique) and display a print made with 35mm HP5+ on a 12x16 print (the negative was enlarged to about 16x24!). It's a stunning developer!
