The process of transferring a trench template from one project to another involves several steps. Export this run as a VCL file, ensuring the target surface is set to none to avoid exporting unnecessary surfaces. After exporting, create a new project and verify that the desired trench template is not present. Import the VCL file into the new project, which will bring in the run. Delete the imported run and network, ensuring no surfaces are included, while retaining the trench template in the project. To make this trench template a part of the project template, perform a 'file save as template' operation, replacing the existing template if necessary. When a new project is created using this updated template, the trench template will be included, effectively transferring it from one project to another and integrating it into the project template.
