The Bela Vista House is a modern luxury residence that innovatively combines elements of architecture and landscaping. It is composed of a square-shaped courtyard house and overlapping linear blocks inserted into the topography by retaining walls. These differences are responsible for creating a contrast between the topographic base and the transparent volume that covers it, as well as for dividing the social and private functions of the house. The volumes that cover the hill accommodate private bedrooms and living areas, while the glass volume built around the courtyard houses all the social spaces of the house. The courtyard also functions as a rain garden, with its roof collecting rainwater for reuse as greywater in the house. The house has a total built area of 2,650 square meters, and its flow distribution is controlled by the building's insertion into the steep topography, creating a unique intervention that exceptionally integrates architecture and terrain.
