Saving Lives with Solar Power at Epe General Hospital

In 2017, while performing a delivery, a woman was bleeding heavily, her cervix had turned. Just as I was trying to stabilize her, the power went out. I had no choice but to continue with a torchlight, doing everything I could to save her life. That experience changed me.

It reminded me how important uninterrupted power supply is in healthcare. That is why we decided to donate the 11 KW solar power system powered by cutting-edge Luminous Rayverter technology, in the Mother-Child Centre at Epe General Hospital, Lagos.

This is a step in the right direction in improving health outcomes for mothers and children in Nigeria.
