Kiss Pour Technique | Soap Challenge Club February 2021 | Cold Process Soap

Описание к видео Kiss Pour Technique | Soap Challenge Club February 2021 | Cold Process Soap

This is my entry for the February 2021 Soap Challenge Club. This month’s challenge is a kiss pour inspired from the acrylic paint kiss pour technique. The goal is to pour from two pitchers so that the streams intermingle or, “kiss.” This technique can create some really interesting designs, but the goal for this challenge is to achieve blending and feathering between the colors in the soap.
*The Soap Challenge Club Website: https://soapchallengeclub.com/
*I used the middle sized tray as my slab mold. It’s hard to beat $10 for three, “slab molds.” https://tinyurl.com/yp2dupaf
*I used a wonderfully behaving fragrance from Nurture Soap that kept the batter nice and fluid, which was a must for this to be a successful pour. https://nurturesoap.com/products/oran...
*I chose Mad Micas for my colors, because they are BOLD. I’m also an affiliate. If you are a crafty person, I’d be super grateful for you to use my affiliate link the next time you make a purchase from Mad Micas. These are all affiliate links to the colors I used in this soap.

How I CPOP: First I preheat the oven to 170°F. Then I turn the oven off, turn the oven light on, place the soap in the oven, close the oven door, and leave it in overnight. I don’t spray the top or cover it in the oven. We soapers all do things a little differently, and this works very well for me.

This video is NOT designed for kids. Soap is made using lye which is caustic until after the saponification process in which no lye remains. Children/kids should NOT attempt this, and adults need to exercise safety precautions. This video is not a full tutorial.
