Johnny Mnemonic (Williams 1995) - VPW - Visual Pinball X / VPX - Midnight Madness & Power Down Mode!

I honestly can't remember if I ever watched Jonny Mnemonic. My guess is that it wouldn't have aged well considering the theme. Either way... the table is great fun and as fast and crazy as it can get. The glove mechanism is great and the VPW team has done an amazing job to implement it perfectly. This table is also the first release that make use of the amazing new graphical features in VPX 10.8 and the table looks better than ever. There is also a new low-latency mode called Frame Pacing implemented in 10.8 and my timing has never been as precise as this. It feels so good. This game was also pretty good and I happened to play the Midnight Madness mode! I also reached the wizard mode called Power Down and scored pretty hefty 10 billion during it which blew up my score.

My basic aim with any tips and strategy gameplay video I post is to help the viewer improve his skill in the game and on the specific table. I do this by identifying the safest and most efficient strategy to follow to play through the modes and to reach and beat the wizard mode. This is admittedly not always the most efficient way to achieve a high score, but once you understand the table, including which shots and modes are worth it or not, it puts you in the position where you can concentrate on what you have identified as the best approach to reaching a high score.
