The Wrench is a rare item critical in several Blueprints and second-phase construction builds in the game.
Wrenches may be obtained in the following locations:

Bunker Alfa:
Cut Finger terminal room
Floor 1 / Lobby: Shelf in the room with one Fast Biter
Floor 2: Locker in the room across from the terminal, where the generator used to be, with one Frenzied Giant
Floor 3: Lower Small Box in a room with one door protected by lasers, containing the largest F3 zombie horde, including Toxic Spitters and Toxic Abominations
Bunker Bravo 2nd floor cargo loot
Blackport PD: Cabinet/dresser with printer at the end of the left hallway, guarded by 2 officers.
Resource zone loot crates
Crooked Creek Farm farm chest

Wrench is used for Weapon Modifications and in the following Blueprints:
Electric Generator
Motorboat
Boat engine
Pressing Machine
Turret
Radio Tower (removed in version Beta v.1.16.3)
It is used in the following finalizations:

Electric Generator: Phase 2 Finalization
3rd Watchtower - Swamp Watchtower
Blackport PD terminals 4, 5, & 6
Repairing the terminals in Bunker Bravo
Waterpumps assembly
Gateway Door (removed in version Beta v.1.16.3)
Radio Tower: Phase 2 & 3 Finalization (removed in version Beta v.1.16.3)
Can be given to Jane the Mechanic at Gas Station for bike upgrade (maximum of 10 every 24 hours)

Used to assemble Toolbox on Packing table at Port
On the Recycler, a Wrench can be recycled into Scrap Metal and Steel Bar in 10 minutes and 1 second at an appropriate level of Other recycling skill.
