Libby Smith, DO, FAOCO speaks about protecting and preserving your voice.

Dr. Smith is a board-certified otolaryngologist who specializes in the care of the professional voice and the treatment of voice disorders. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery's Voice, Speech, and Swallowing Committee and is on the Triological Society's Eastern Section Nominating Committee. Dr. Smith's primary area of research is the treatment of vocal fold paralysis, utilizing laryngeal EMG to guide customized patient treatment, as well as vocal fold augmentation. Her passion has been surgical ergonomics - optimizing surgeon positioning to reduce musculoskeletal injury.
