Chock Full o' Bach: Bach/Gounod: Ave Maria | Nahar Eliaz, cello

Kicking off our celebration of the holidays, 14-year old cellist Nahar Eliaz, a #VirtualHeifetz2020 student, and one of the most acclaimed young cellists in Israel, performs a lovely rendition of Charles Gounod's "Ave Maria," based on the Prelude in C major, BWV 846, from the first book of J.S. Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier. Nahar recorded this performance with pianist Tal Haim-Samnon at the Israel Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv.
