LURE FISHING FOR BASS AT NIGHT | I ALWAYS HAVE THIS LURE WITH ME

This video is from a few weeks back when we had a break in the weather. I decided to head to a mark and try for a bass whilst using some soft plastics.
Upon arriving, I noticed there was a lot of weed scattered all over the beach. I decided to give it a go from the beach and hope I could fish through the weed. This however proved a little difficult, so I hopped onto the rocks to fish some deeper water.
As we were approaching a full moon in a couple of days, it was very light that night. I was fishing with a white lure and not getting any indications of any bass around. I remembered a useful tip which I’ve given people in the past, however on this occasion I seemed to have forgotten my own advice.
When fishing at night either before, during, or just after a full moon, it can be very productive to use a very dark lure. Black is a great choice as this will show more of a silhouette in the water when the bass see it.
So, after following my own advice, on went the faithful Sidewinder Skerries eel - The Blacktide. On the first cast I was into a 50cm bass. A couple of casts later and I was into another smaller bass.
Coincidence? Or does using a dark lure on light nights really make the difference?… I believe it’s the latter.
