(i) Unskilled:
An unskilled employee is one who does operations that involve the performance of simple duties, which require the experience of little of no independent judgment or previous experience although familiarity with the occupational environment is necessary. His work may thus require in addition to physical exertion familiarity with variety of articles or goods. Examples of jobs that require unskilled workers are farm workers, cleaners, sweepers, and grocery clerks.
(i) अकुशल:
एक अकुशल कर्मचारी वह होता है जो ऐसे कार्यों को करता है जिसमें सरल कर्तव्यों का प्रदर्शन शामिल होता है, जिसमें किसी स्वतंत्र निर्णय या पिछले अनुभव के कम अनुभव की आवश्यकता होती है, हालांकि व्यावसायिक वातावरण के साथ परिचित होना आवश्यक है। इस प्रकार उनके काम के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार के लेखों या सामानों के साथ शारीरिक परिश्रम परिचितता की आवश्यकता हो सकती है


(ii) Semi-skilled:
A semiskilled worker is one who does work generally of defined routine nature wherein the major requirement is not so much of the judgment, skill and but for proper discharge of duties assigned to him or relatively narrow job and where important decisions made by others. His work is thus limited to the performance of routine operations of limited scope. E.g. doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, carpenters, goldsmith etc.

(ii) अर्ध-कुशल:
एक अर्ध-कुशल कार्यकर्ता वह है जो आम तौर पर परिभाषित रूटीन प्रकृति का काम करता है, जिसमें प्रमुख आवश्यकता निर्णय, कौशल और उसके द्वारा सौंपे गए कर्तव्यों के उचित निर्वहन और अपेक्षाकृत संकीर्ण नौकरी और जहां दूसरों द्वारा किए गए महत्वपूर्ण निर्णयों की नहीं होती है। उनका काम इस प्रकार सीमित दायरे के नियमित संचालन के प्रदर्शन तक सीमित है।


(iii) Skilled:
A skilled employee is one who is capable of working efficiently of exercising considerable independent judgment and of discharging his duties with responsibility. He must possess a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the trade, craft or industry in which he is employed.
Examples of skilled labor include engineers, scientists, software development, paramedics, police officers, soldiers, physicians, crane operators, truck drivers, machinist, drafters, plumbers, craftsmen, cooks and accountants.
(iii) कुशल:
एक कुशल कर्मचारी वह है जो काफी स्वतंत्र निर्णय लेने और जिम्मेदारी के साथ अपने कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन करने में कुशलता से काम करने में सक्षम है। उसके पास उस व्यापार, शिल्प या उद्योग का गहन और व्यापक ज्ञान होना चाहिए जिसमें वह कार्यरत है।


(iv) Highly Skilled:
A highly skilled worker is one who is capable of working efficiently and supervises efficiently the work of skilled employees. Examples of skilled labor occupations are: electricians, law enforcement officers, computer operators, financial technicians, and administrative assistants.
(iv) अत्यधिक कुशल:
एक उच्च कुशल कार्यकर्ता वह है जो कुशलता से काम करने में सक्षम है और कुशल कर्मचारियों के काम का पर्यवेक्षण करता है।
