Roy Fox And His Band - Yes, Yes (My Baby Said "Yes") (HOT + BOWLLY!!)

Roy Fox and his Monseigneur Band play a great version of Yes, Yes (My Baby Said "Yes"), featuring a red hot Nat Gonella! What drive this band had, with Don Stuteley on string bass being particularly noteworthy in the rhythm section.

In the photograph of the band, taken earlier on in 1931 (with Billy Amstell instead of Jim Easton), Al Bowlly looks like he needs a shave! Mind you, Al was the sort of testosterone-fuelled man who could probably develop a five o' clock shadow just waiting for the photo to be taken!
