Biography
ODIOSOCIAL is a Brazilian hardcore punk band formed in 2000 in São Paulo, Brazil.
Always demonstrating high energy in their performances, their lyrics address the following themes: war, poverty, unemployment, anti-system revolt, corruption,
anarchism, among others.
ODIOSOCIAL has established itself with a strong trajectory in the hardcore punk scene, alongside Crustpunk, Grindcore, and other punk rock genres, strengthening and adding value to a global scene that is growing and establishing solid roots. We are celebrating 25 years of career with total dedication to underground culture. Their physical releases are becoming increasingly extensive, encompassing formats that lend unique characteristics to our punk culture: cassettes, CDs, and vinyl. Alongside many bands on the global scene, they continue to contribute to the growth of this network, supporting new bands and giving space and voice to all those who rebel and want to express their protests and poetry through their music. ODIOSOCIAL has so far completed four European tours, visiting countries such as Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Portugal, and Austria, playing at massive festivals such as Obscene Extreme Festival, Refuse Festival, More Noise Life Festival, and others, thus forming a large underground music network.
This story continues, as you'll soon find these guys in some of the many centers of resistance around the world.
