How to Make Pioneer Country Gravy Mix at Home | Easy Copycat Recipe

INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups all purpose flour
• 1 cup dry milk powder
• 1/4 cup cornstarch
• 1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
• 1 tbsp salt
• 2 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp ground poultry seasoning

PREPARATION STEPS
1. Whisk all ingredients together until well incorporated.

2. Store in an airtight jar for up to 6 months.

3. To use: Melt 2 tablespoons of fat (butter, shortening, sausage fat, bacon fat) in a saucepan, add 3 tablespoons of gravy mix, cook on medium-low heat for 3 minutes (making a roux), then pour in 1 cup water or milk. Whisk and cook until thickened.
