Grandmother, along with her sons and Sadegh, decided after a long time to spend a few days in the beautiful village of Jalaleh. This village lies on the mountain slopes, near a clear and lively river — a place where the sound of flowing water blends with the songs of birds, and the cool, pleasant air refreshes every traveler’s soul. From the very moment they arrived in Jalaleh, excitement and joy could be seen on everyone’s faces, as if this trip were an opportunity to wash away the fatigue of daily city life. Today the weather is sunny and delightful. Grandmother and the women accompanying her have gone to the nearby plains to gather mountain and medicinal herbs — the same herbs they always use to make tea and herbal infusions whose aroma fills the house with the scent of the mountains and meadows. Meanwhile, the men, including Grandmother’s sons and Sadegh, have headed toward the rocky cliffs by the river to go rock climbing and later do some fishing. The sounds of laughter, conversation, and the river’s flowing water create an atmosphere full of life and tranquility. At night, when the cool breeze blows from the river, everyone gathers around the fire, sipping tea brewed over the flames and sharing memories of the past. This trip is filled with warm and pleasant moments, and it seems it will continue for a few more days — for no one wants to part with the peace of the village and the enchanting nature of Jalaleh.
