Close to 60 participants witnessed the investiture of cadets from Tripartite Engineering Training Award (TETA) Cohort 3 at Lighthouse Bistro on 3 March. Graced by Guest-of-Honour Singapore Maritime Training Fund Advisory (SMTF) Committee Chairman Chandru Rajwani, the event was also attended by SMOU and WMI officials, as well as representatives from Employment and Employability Institute (e2i), Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), and the shipping community. It was a proud moment for each cadet when they received their epaulets in the presence of their families and respective employers.

A tour at the Mariners’ Lounge was also conducted for the cadets and their families, where they learnt about SMOU’s mission to safeguard the interests of seafarers, the history and more.
