Testing Foam Sanding Pads With A Rotary Sander | No Grout Speed Tiles | Filing Cabinet Makeover

Finding tools to make mundane jobs easier is always a good idea. Finding inexpensive ones is a great idea! Sanding furniture is a slow but really important part of refinishing furniture. I'll take anything that will help making the process less taxing. So I thought I'd give foam sanding backer pads a try. I know it's the the same thing as a SurfPrep, but I wanted to see what advantages it would have.

To give this filing cabinet a high end finish, I covered the top with marble tile. But I did this the easy way, with Speed Tile. No mortar, no grout, just peel, spray and stick. For little projects like this Speed Tiles are perfect.
