Queen Isolation Cage Follow-Up, did it work to keep a swarm from absconding? Queen Cage that works.

This is a follow up video to demonstrate how a Queen Isolation Cage may be used to keep a queen on a frame of drawn comb so a freshly hived swarm will remain in the hive you install them in.

I am also testing out a Queen Introduction Cage that is made by the same company, but is not available in the United States "yet". That system provides protection for a newly introduced queen while the resident bees become acclimated to her cent which will vastly improve acceptance. You will also be able to verify if there is another queen present, or laying workers.

How many times have you hived a swarm, just to come back the next day and find an empty hive? This solves that problem.
