Back again with one of the classic Zoids heavyweights, first released in Japan as Iron Kong, but then in Europe as Gore, The Lord Protector, and once more in America as Badox (under the Robo Strux toyline). If Gojulas/Zoidzilla is the Godzilla of Zoids, then here's the King Kong to rival him. I previously released a short video of a custom red painted variant of this guy, but here he is in his original Blue Guardian/Helic Republic colours.

One of the most iconic Zoids that has stood the test of time with its solid design. Originally it was released in black and red as part of the Red Mutants/Zenebas Empire faction, but internationally it was released in black and grey as part of the Blue Guardians/Helic Republic faction. All releases from 1999 onward would strictly be of the Red Mutants/Zenebas Empire faction.

Originally it had a spring-loaded missle launcher, but for the international releases the launcher was replaced with a non-launching variant. Later releases would bring back the original launcher but not all would come with springs to fire the missles. After Gojulas/Zoidzilla, Iron Kong, Gore The Lord Protector, Badox was the second Zoid to come with battery-powered lights, giving it a striking bright eye glow.
