tips:
Took the bus because Shinkansen tickets book out and sell out fast! Also 1/2 the price as the train to take bus- but just risk hitting traffic like we did.
CHECK THE WEATHER! We moved our fuji dates so we could avoid raining days, there’s nothing much to do there other than look at mt.fuji
Highly recommend e-biking, you have more freedom to explore areas that tour groups / tour buses cannot get to / less tied down to bus schedules
Try their local specialty houtou fudo noodles!
Recommend staying one night overnight- sunset and sunrise on Mt.Fuji is beautiful
